When we were growing up life was a bit difficult and we really couldn’t afford much.  I never had a schwinn roadster of my own, as it never really made it to the budget list.  Truth is, neither did any of my brothers have a bike of their own.  What we did have was a big red bike we shared and took turns with.This bike was very dear to us because it took our consorted effort to put it together. As my dad would say, you got to earn your keep, and this bike, we had to save up for.  It was nothing like the Schwinn Roadster, though, but it definitely did the job.
