I always thought learning guitar would be pretty uncomplicated. Besides, you didn’t have to carry one to the local volunteer orchestra rehearsals—another plus. So, being impulsive, I signed up for learning guitar. At my first lesson I learned that my left hand would have to communicate with my right hand. I guess there’s a lesson in that story. I now love playing guitar, but I should have better understood it before beginning. If you are interested in learning guitar, go down to the music store and explore the instrument; make an appointment with an instructor; ask lots of questions. I think that you will decide that learning guitar is a great adventure, but be sure before you start.
