Early on, kids are amenable to being in their baby pushchairs. They mostly sleep, lulled by the click of the wheels along the sidewalk. When they do wake up, it seems they are comfortable and content to ride along and watch. In my mind, it reminds me of the regal queens who were carted around in pavilions by their servants. Who’s to complain? However, once the baby grows a bit and starts to toddle about, the pushchair becomes more of an annoyance to them, or a nifty handle they can cling to while they try to stand. The real fun comes when they can really walk and they push the chair themselves.
