 So there is a story for every situation it seems, if you were to as your mother or someone in that age range about troubled teens when they were teens I think most would respond similarly.  So far the consensus is they were all “troubled”; by the time people our parents age were teens all those “now day” illegal things, and acts of terror were either passed over or made an example of.  And so what most don’t realize is that since it wasn’t illegal everyone was doing it.  Different times, same situations and similar results; wonder, what will it be like for the troubled teens of america thirty years from now.
