I really wish there were more deals out there in the market. When I look at self storage for sale today, there seems to be a serious disconnect between what most Seller’s still believe their properties to be worth and what the market will currently bear. Now the lack of financing is surely a detrimental factor that may or may not work itself out in the long run. But, with higher interest rates on the horizon CAP rates will have to go up which means lower sales prices on properties for sale. Sellers won’t like it but that will be the way it is!
