You’ll need a check list before you open your restaurant to make sure everything is in order on the opening day. Check your stocks and make sure you have enough in your inventory. You don’t want to run out of stuff to serve on your opening day. Make an estimate of how much you would need from your business plan. Double check that emergency and handicap facilities are ready for use. Make sure you have signs outside your restaurant and around town announcing your opening date. A print ad in your local newspaper would also be a good way to attract customers for your inauguration. Make sure all your legal documents, permits and certificates are ready before you open a restaurant. The list goes on,  write them all down a couple of months before you open your doors to the public to ensure a smooth opening day.
