Once when I was in the sixth grade, we had this really strange guy come to our school. The way he was dressed, I thought for sure he was going to draft us into the army or something. But what happened was that he gave us all an acoustic guitar lesson. It was likely the strangest thing that ever happened to me. He seemed so hard and angry at first, but as soon as he started strumming his six string, he turned into the sweetest thing you could ever see. We sang so many songs that we were all late going home that day, and half of our moms called the principals office to see what the deal was.
